Find out more about the Private Client Departments.
As you would expect, the FSP Private Client team offers a whole range of legal services to individuals and families. With 5 partners, and 18 further lawyers, we make up a third of the firm and are one of the largest and most experienced private client teams in the local area. We are divided into four separate departments, although the nature of our work means that we often work closely with each other to ensure we provide high quality, joined-up advice to our clients.
The departments are…
Wills, Trusts & Estates
Our Wills, Trusts and Estates team is headed up by Rob Crowther and provides advice on matters such as the preparation of Wills and trusts, inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning, the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney, applications to the Court of Protection and administration of estates and trusts.
Divorce, Family & Civil Partnerships
The divorce, family & civil partnerships team at FSP is led by Sue Baker and advises on all family law related issues regarding the breakdown of relationships, including complex and highly litigious divorce proceedings, disputes between cohabitees and delicate and highly emotive cases concerning children.
Increasingly the team also advise on a number of aspects of relationship planning, including pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements and declarations of trust over property.

FSP’s Residential Conveyancing team is headed up by Emily Neale and provides high quality advice from qualified fee earners on the full range of property matters. This includes buying and selling of residential property (both freehold and leasehold), handling plot sales, and advising on re-mortgaging, leasehold extensions and collective enfranchisements.
